1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inqry AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Inqry provides a contextual Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform that allows users to upload documents and chat with them using AI. We provide this service on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You represent that you have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content.
  • Violate intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service.
  • Use the Service for high-risk activities where failure could lead to physical harm.
  • Misuse the Service to spam, phish, or impersonate others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Fees, Billing, and Subscriptions

If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.

  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time; access will continue through the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Pricing changes: We may update pricing with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Inqry a license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service infrastructure, code, and design are owned by Inqry and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services (e.g., cloud hosting, LLM providers, payment processors). We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, or outages may occur from time to time.

10. Termination and Data Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data where feasible. After that, we may delete your data according to our retention practices.

11. Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it without restriction.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inqry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the past twelve months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Inqry harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, unless otherwise required by law.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" and, when feasible, by email or in-app notice.
